General Overview

The CP86 Series is Chicago Pneumatic’s cordless battery torque wrench (nutrunner) line for heavy bolting jobs in energy, mining, oil & gas, and heavy vehicle maintenance. Models cover a wide torque range — from around 300 Nm up to 8,100 Nm — with ±4% accuracy for high-precision tightening. Connected versions integrate with the CPLinQ app for presets, quality tracking, and traceability in the field. All tools use a compact 36V battery that reduces weight and increases mobility compared to hydraulic wrenches.
